Total Solar Eclipse 2024 in Montpelier, Vermont - Metal Wall Art
Solar Eclipse of 2024 - viewed from Montpelier, Vermont
The bright spots on the right are called Baily’s Beads. As the as the sun becomes obscured by the surface of the moon, the light sneaks around the uneven terrain. The pink areas are solar prominences, which are plasma and magnetic field structures on the surface of the sun.
If you witnessed totality, you know it was worth the traffic. The universe is full of wonder and amazement. I photographed the total solar eclipse from a side street in Montpelier, VT. It was my second time seeing Totality, and felt even more fleeting.
